1. Definitions

Platform: Refers to the website (www.xthlete.in), operated by Xthlete (referred herein as “Company”), facilitating athlete profiles, tournament hosting, and sponsorship opportunities.
Athletes: Registered users participating in sports events via the platform.
Organizers: Entities or individuals hosting sports tournaments through the platform.
Sponsors: Third parties engaging with athletes or tournaments through the platform.

2. General Terms

Xthlete.in with office in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It connects athletes, event organizers, and sponsors. These Terms are governed under Indian laws and comply with applicable digital and intermediary rules.

Xthlete.in may update these terms at its discretion. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any revisions.

3. Account Registration

Users must register to access athlete profiles, participate in or host events. Accurate personal information is mandatory. Organizers must provide identification (PAN, Aadhaar, bank details) for verification and payouts.

Minors may register with parental consent. Each user may hold only one account. Account misuse or sharing is prohibited.

4. User Content and Guidelines

Users may upload content (profiles, tournament posters, match updates, etc.) subject to the following:

Must be appropriate for all ages ("U" rated).
Must not violate laws or incite harm, hate, or misconduct.
Xthlete.in reserves the right to remove content that breaches guidelines.

Organizers are solely responsible for event-related content. Violations may result in account termination.

5. Services & Liability

Xthlete.in offers:

Athlete profiles and rankings
Tournament hosting and participation
Sponsorship discovery
Event management tools

Xthlete acts solely as a facilitator and does not assume responsibility for event quality, participant conduct, or injuries during events. Organizers are responsible for legal compliance and safety.

6. Event Hosting

Organizers can list tournaments on the platform, with payouts processed post-event, minus applicable platform fees (e.g., 10% of net sales).

Accurate event details (rules, dates, venues) must be provided. False listings or misconduct may lead to penalties or delisting.

7. Ranking and Profile System

Athletes' performance in Xthlete-hosted tournaments contributes to a platform-wide ranking. Match history, wins/losses, and key stats are recorded and reflected in their profiles to attract sponsors and recognition.

8. Data Privacy

Xthlete.in collects and processes personal data for account management, event participation, payments, and promotions. Information is stored securely and may be shared only with relevant parties such as event organizers or sponsors. Refer to the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Payments

All payments are processed via secure third-party aggregators complying with PCI-DSS norms. Xthlete.in does not store payment credentials. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.
